Returns & Cancellations

Last updated 3 July 2026

We want you to be happy with your order. This page explains your rights to cancel or return GRP roofing materials bought from premiercomposites.shop. It is written for consumers; if you buy as a business, see the trade note at the end.

Your 14-day right to cancel (consumers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you bought as a consumer you have the right to cancel your order and return the goods for a refund. You can cancel from the moment you place the order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back once you have told us you are cancelling.

You do not need to give a reason. We’ll refund the price you paid for the returned goods, and the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of getting the goods back (or of you providing proof you have sent them). We may reduce the refund if goods have been handled more than necessary to check them, or used.

Returning hazardous goods safely

Some of our products are dangerous goods — MEKP catalyst (UN3105), acetone and styrene-based resins and topcoats (UN1866). These are not exempt from your 14-day cancellation right, but for everyone’s safety they must be returned properly:

  • the goods must be unused, unopened and factory-sealed, in their original packaging;
  • you must handle and package them safely — dangerous goods cannot go through the ordinary post and must travel by a compliant ADR carrier; and
  • please contact us first at nick.frith25@gmail.com before returning any hazardous item, so we can arrange a safe, compliant collection or agree how it will be returned.

Do not attempt to decant, repackage or ship opened or part-used catalyst, resin or solvents. If a hazardous product has been opened or used it can no longer be returned under the cancellation right for safety reasons, but your rights for faulty goods below are unaffected.

If your goods are faulty

Your rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are separate from, and additional to, the 14-day cancellation right. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not:

  • within 30 days of receipt you can reject them for a full refund;
  • after that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a refund if that isn’t possible.

For faulty goods we cover the reasonable cost of return, and for faulty hazardous goods we will arrange safe, compliant collection — again, please contact us first.

How to start a return

Email nick.frith25@gmail.com with your order number, the item(s) concerned and whether you are cancelling, returning a faulty item, or returning a hazardous item. We’ll confirm the next steps and, for hazardous goods, arrange safe collection or agree a compliant return method. Please don’t send hazardous goods back without contacting us first.

Trade and business orders

The 14-day consumer cancellation right does not apply to purchases made in the course of a business. Trade returns are handled under our trade terms — please get in touch to discuss. Your rights for genuinely faulty goods still apply.
