Terms & Conditions of Sale
Last updated 3 July 2026
These terms govern the sale of goods by Premier Composites (“we”, “us”, “our”) through premiercomposites.shop to you (“you”, the customer). We sell GRP / fibreglass flat-roofing materials — resins, topcoats, catalysts, matting, trims and associated tools — to both consumers and trade. Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. How the contract is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our acknowledgement of your order (for example an on-screen confirmation or an automated email) confirms we have received it but does not form a contract. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order-confirmation email accepting the order, or — if earlier — when we dispatch or hand over the goods. If we cannot accept your order (for example an item is out of stock, mispriced, or cannot be lawfully delivered to your address), we will tell you and will not charge you, or will refund any payment taken.
2. Prices and VAT
Prices shown at checkout include VAT at the prevailing UK rate unless stated otherwise. Delivery is not included in the product price — it is quoted separately at checkout based on your postcode and the goods ordered (hazardous items carry a specialist-carrier surcharge; see clause 5). We take care to price accurately, but if a genuine pricing error is discovered we will contact you before dispatch to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
3. Payment
Payment is taken at the time of order. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider (NatWest / Fiserv). We do not see or store your full card details. Goods remain our property until we have received payment in full (see clause 6).
4. Delivery and collection
You may collect free of charge from our Boston depot, or have goods delivered for the price quoted at checkout. Delivery timescales are estimates, not guarantees. Full details — carriers, pallet/kerbside deliveries and the postcodes we cannot deliver hazardous goods to — are set out on our delivery page.
5. Dangerous goods & your responsibilities
Some of our products are classified as dangerous goods. These include MEKP catalyst (UN3105, organic peroxide), acetone and styrene-based flammable resins and topcoats (UN1866). Because of this:
- Hazardous items are delivered by a specialist ADR / Hazchem carrier (or collected in person) and cannot be sent by ordinary parcel post. They cannot be delivered to certain areas (Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) — see the delivery page.
- You are responsible for the safe handling, use and storage of these products once delivered or collected. You must read the product label and safety data sheet (SDS) before use, follow COSHH good practice, wear appropriate PPE, work in ventilated conditions away from heat and ignition sources, and never mix catalyst incorrectly.
- You must keep these products out of the reach of children and store them securely. MEKP and acetone are hazardous and must be stored, used and disposed of responsibly and lawfully.
- You confirm the goods are for a lawful purpose and — where relevant to trade quantities — that you are competent to receive and handle ADR-classified goods.
We provide these products in good faith for their intended use in GRP roofing. We cannot accept liability for loss or damage caused by unsafe or incorrect handling, mixing or application once the goods have left our control, save as required by law.
6. Title and risk
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, or on collection where you collect. Ownership (title) passes to you only once we have received payment in full. Given the nature of dangerous goods, you become responsible for their safe keeping and handling from the moment they are delivered to you or your nominated address, or collected.
7. Cancellation and returns
Consumers have a statutory right to cancel most orders and a separate right to reject faulty goods. Hazardous items are not excluded from the cancellation right but must be returned safely, unused and sealed. Full details — including the 14-day consumer cancellation window, how to start a return, and how trade orders differ — are on our returns & cancellations page.
8. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for losses arising from your own failure to handle, store or apply the products safely and in line with the manufacturer’s instructions, or (where you buy as a business) for loss of profit, business or goodwill.
9. Trade and business customers
Where you buy in the course of a business, the consumer-specific rights in clause 7 do not apply and different terms (including trade pricing and account terms) may govern the sale. Please contact us for our trade terms.
10. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
